LR-308 Stock advice

Just picked up a 20" LR308 and I am gonna turn it into a SASS type rifle. Getting a TRX-308 13.8 inch handguard. Wish Midwest industries made their Gen2 SS for the LR308. Any other narrow style handguards on the market like that?

Anyhow back to the big question. Looking for a good SASS/Longer Range buttstock to put on it. Magpul PRS comes to mind But I would like an adjustable one. maybe the CAA Sniper stock with the monopod built in (but it sure aint cheap)

Any advice on what people are using?

Other tube style rail for DPMS LR308s include
-Apex Machine
-PRI
-Superior Weapon Systems E1

If you use a Vltor A5 or RE-10 receiver extension (it is slightly longer), you can use any stock you want (read up on spring and buffer combinations), or you can use a regular ar15 receiver extension (again, read up on the spring/buffer requirements, but a lot of people will recommend a "Slash" buffer for this set up). I personally like the A5/RE-10 option, because it uses a longer tube.

What do you mean by adjustable? The PRS is adjustable for length of pull and comb height. Are you looking for a "collapsible" stock? If you decide to go with the PRS, make sure you get the one for the 308 AR as opposed to the 5.56 AR, as the latter will interfere with the charging handle on the larger rifle. I have a PRS on my LR308 and much prefer it to the A2, although the A2 stock is pretty comfortable too.

Yes looking for something collaspable with a good cheek weld and would like to have the option of attaching a monopob. The PRS says it goes from 1/4 inch shorter to 3/4 inch longer than an A2 buttstock and I would like to have it a little close than that.

I was looking at this:

But at 400 bucks its not cheap. Have a hard time spending that on a stock assembly.

Anything else along these lines?
