Thought I'd get your attention!
About 3 weeks ago, there was an for sale ad in the classifieds for pmags, selling at about 60.00/mag. One gentleman stated in the post how that was not Hide members helping one another out, and that he had some spare pmags if another member truly needed one/two he would sell them at his cost and shipping.
Now, I work at a local large firearms retailer a few evenings week. I am feeling like a real tool because I used to work 10 feet from a wall of pmags. Obviously, I took that for granted because I had zero to show for it in my personal stash of goods. By the time the panic struck, I was simply too late to buy one.
Anyhow, I PM this gentleman and request if he had one or two he could spare, I'd gladly pay him the "used to be" price. He responds, says he'll send me three mags for about 35.00, total. I gladly accept. He types back that he actually did not care about the money, he just wanted to be able to help someone else out. He says he is sending me three pmags at a cost of $0.00. About a week later, I receive a package, but instead of having 3 mags in it, it has 4!
Words cannot account for what this gentleman did for another Hide member. This post is nothing but a "thank you," and to show that there is still some sanity left in these tumultuous times.
