Hi KNIGHT11B4,

I've tried them, and they do shoot very well, but no way can I get them to fit the magazine of my AR (well, not at 0.01-0.02" jump, anyway). It has all been top loading so far.

To the b.c. question I cannot speak, as the Midway value is the only one I've seen, too.

Yours,

David

That's the beauty of the hybrids. You can usually jump the hell out of them, and they still shoot lights out. I load them to mag length in a bolt gun, and they do 1/2 MOA. Try loading to max mag length in your AR, and shoot a few. They will probably suprise you.

Re: Berger 155 Hybrid B.C.

I loaded these to mag length (in a Remmy 700 with internal mag), and I was surprised at how well they shot. Jump was greater than .1", and it didn't seem to matter much. Shot about as good as 175 SMK's at a much higher velocity and with the same BC. That is a winner in my book.

Wow, that's impressive. Thanks much to both of you for the advice.

I knew the new hybrids were more permissive than the VLDs, but I figured that just meant we could increase or decrease the jump by as much as .02" without everything going to pieces; I'd no idea we could go up to >.1".

Gratefully yours,

David
