20" SS varmint/match barrel anywhere?

I'm putting together a varmint upper for my AR and actually managed to find some uppers the other day. Now I'm looking for a barrel. I'd like to find a 20" SS tube. I'm not shooting competition, so something "second tier" (say a bit under $300) would be fine. I know my timing sucks, but does anyone know any manufactures even taking orders? Given that it's JA...and I'm in Idaho, a couple month wait isn't going to hurt anything.

Get on the notify list for a Rainier or BCM barrel, then watch your email as they go fast!

There are Lothar Walther barrels available with matched bolts for under $400. These are top shelf barrels and many of the other manufacturers - like Spikes - use their blanks. Little Crow Gunworks had some Walther barrels up on Gunbroker a few weeks or so ago, you can try them or go to Walther's site derectly.

Check the Rainier site for theirs and WOA barrels.
They come and go FAST so be ready and get on the email list.
I just got a 16" UM barrel that was only available for about an hour.

According to their web site, lead time is a minimum of 20 weeks! Yikes. I'll give RRA a call tomorrow and see how backed up they are.

I just got a Douglas barrel from compass lake engineer, I shot it for the first and love the thing. Highly recommend them

I had mine watch listed at Brownells and wasn't nearly that.

Barrels are yet another AR part that seem to be hard to get right now. I have been waiting for a WOA barrel for 4 months now.

Ordered a AR Performance 20" 5R 8 Twist Target Crown with NiB carrier and 9310 Superbolt for $405 shipped this morning; won't be in stock for long.

I have a AR Performance 18" 264LBC its a real shooter.

I'm in the barrel hunt as well as a LPK, bolt carrier (not whole thing, just carrier) and handguards. Amazing how it all can just disappear from the shelves practically overnight...

Thanks for the heads up, did the same! Really tempted to get a 6mm AR as well.
