I have a Glock 19 that doubles as my carry gun as well as a competition gun until i can buy a 34. a buddy had recommended that i get one of the lone wolf replacement barrel for comp use to extend the barrel a little more and to get the ported version. what's your guys take in this? I am starting this week to practice/train for a comp that comes up in Sept that has a pistol stage and i am very week in pistol, so any benefit/edge I might get would help but i don't want to waste my money if it wont be worth it.

Side note: there is no restrictions in the comp that i know of for barrel length, caliber, or modifications
