Rifle Scopes Leica rifle scopes - any thoughts??

Just wondering what people think of the "newer" (non-Leupold) Leica rifle scopes??

They look like high-end glass at a decent price - gimme your thoughts, good or bad!!

Looking at scopes for my son's 30-06 hunting rifle I am building him.

I work for a office lab and have been trying to get our Leica consumables rep. to try and talk to someone in the optics division to get a scope to check out. No luck yet but I'm still working on it. lol

Hi JF, contact me and I'll make sure you are taken care of. I can say the glass is the best in its class. These scopes (optics and mechanics) are made by us and they perform. In the interest of full disclosure, the sticking point for most folks on here would be somewhat limited(52 MOA or so for the 10x and 32MOA or so for the 14x) range of elevation, as is the norm with a traditional german hunting scope.
