The 'real' original, but I do like the first one

What I have been posting online to many people:

As civilians with our inalienable rights per the Bill of Rights and Second Amendment, we as civilians have carried our rifles after the every war. After our War for Independance, we carried the same long rifle musket that the Solder carried. After the Indian Wars, we carried the US Carbine with it's breech loading action. When Men came back from The Spanish American war, we carried the same issued Krag rifle. When our great uncles came home from WWI, we carried the same US Rifle 03A3 and 1917 Enfield. When our Marines came back from WWII, we carried the same US Rifle M1 Garand, and M1 Carbine that they carried. When our uncles came home from Viet Nam, we carried the semi automatic version of US Rifle M14, and continue to use it in competition to this day. When our Soldiers carried US Rifle M16A1, A2, and A2M4, we carried the semi automatic version AR15. As our Soldiers serve with US Rifle SCAR, we too carry the semi automatic version SCAR Rifle. This is what we as Americans do. We carry the rifles of our Soldiers and Marines. It does many things. It reminds any who would invade that there just may well be a rifle behind every blade of grass. It allows us to hunt. The most important thing it does though, is allow us to defend ourselves against a government gone wrong, and case in point happened in our recent history right around 1946 in a little place called Athen's Tennessee.
You want our rifles? Come take them.

Excellent, and thank you for that link, Greg. As a Canuck, I truly was not aware of that bit of history.

And my, how pertinent it is!

Wow, thanks for the link, Greg! Second Amendment in Real Life! Never knew about that story....but I was only 6 years old, then...

Thank you for that link, Mr. Langelius.

Now I understand better why Chicago is gun free.
