Gunsmithing SAC Build

Hello,

I'm considering having SAC build my .338LM. I wanted to see if
anyone here has had a rifle built by them. Or anyone know of someone who's had a .338LM built by SAC.
Any input would be appreciated.

There are quite a few people here (including myself) that have SAC builds and I can't ever remember hearing any complaint. The 6.5 Creedmoor he built for me is pretty near perfect. I would highly recomend him.

I had one rifle built by Mark. He did such a great job on it he has the parts for another one of mine that he is going to build for me. He is top notch. You can trust him.

I am at about 6momths now on a 100% complete SAC 260 rifle build, dealing with Mark has been Fantastic, if it wasn't for Manners stock taking their sweet ass time shipping him my stock, it would have been ready over a month ago. You are GTG with SAC.

I haven't had a complete rifle built but, I have sent my Rem700 out to Ohio twice now to have Mark work some magic on it and I couldn't be happier! Plus, he has great customer service...that's my experience. I don't think you could go wrong with a SAC build. Hope that helps, brotha!

Mark built my 338LM a couple years ago. Surgeon action, Krieger barrel. Work is very good. There is a lot of attention to detail.

I think it was the first he did as we talked quite a bit on the type of reamer. He had to order it from PT&G. He used the Match Tactical finish reamer

Mark builds a hell of a nice rifle. He has built or worked on 5-6 guns for me. I trust him to the fullest extent on rifle builds.

Mark built my 284 winchester and it is by far my favorite rifle.

He is a great guy to work with.

Excellent! Thank you all for your input. I got to meet and speak with him at this past Shot Show here in Las Vegas, NV. Nice guy and seemed to be very knowledgeable.

This will be my first custom build. It's always great to hear positive comments from those who have had first hand experience with his builds.

Mark is building 2 AR-type rifles for me. He is the epitome of consideration, customer service, knowledge, and craftsmanship.

An example of how he goes above-and-beyond for his customers—unsolicited he called me from the floor of the SHOT Show to give me an update on the BCGs that had been so hard to secure as well as some suggestions regarding the optics he had examined.

If the way he treats me is any indication of how he treats others, this is a man who abides by the Golden Rule, the <span style="text-decoration: underline">real</span> Golden Rule.

About a 6 pack in, he comes up with some really creative paint schemes.

I bought one of Marks rifles used, and it is a absolute work of art!
The Alpha 11 action is so smooth it feels like it is on roller bearings.

I have pictures of Mark wearing a blonde/grey wig at a poker game......
When I stopped in and rattled his cage last spring he was looking weary from having so many rifles to build, so if that tells you anything he isn't busy because he sucks.....

I have an AR15 from him, a buddy has a 7CM from him, another friend has a 30-06 from him, another friend has 2 6.5CM's from him, he's putting a 300WM barrel on a rifle for me adn building 3 other rifles for close friends of mine, most of which are already repeat customers.

They are all excellent rifles, fit and finish is excellent, and they shoot better than 99% of the owners can drive them.

He's a great guy, keeps up with communication, calls when he can't email, etc. He will build you a killer rifle, I have absolutely no doubt of it.
