Rifle Scopes Night Force NXS 3.5-15X50 MOAR Reticle

Hi,

Does anyone have a review on this scope and this reticle? I am thinking about putting this on my new CZ 527 Varmint in .223 which I will use for varmints such as coyote. I couldn't find an earlier review.

It has the best reticle in MOA available. The Glass is plenty good for varmint shooting. It's built like a tank. Don't hesitate.

If you're ok with the 56mm objective... it only weighs 1ounce more... but it is bigger, then grab one as it will soon be discontinued and is on sale everywhere.

Is only the 56MM objective being discontinued or the entire reticle?

I will have to look into whether the 56MM objective will fit on the CZ 527 with medium rings.


I did order a recontoured bolt handle.

I believe only the 56mm version is being discontinued.

The 56mm version of the 3.5-15x has been discontinued. The MOAR is still around and will probably do so for quite a long time. I personally think that it's the best MOA based reticle out there.

+1 on the MOAR reticle and it is a relatively new addition to their selection. Was on the phone with NF tech folks a couple of weeks ago and he mentioned that it is becoming one of their best sellers. Have two of them and really pleased.

Hi,

Thanks for all the feedback. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like I am going to be able to get a 50mm front objective to fit on this rifle using Leupold medium rings. Looks like maximum objective size will be 44mm. If I go any higher on the rings, I stand a good chance of losing a good cheek weld. Scoping the CZ 527 can be a PITA but it is supposed to be quite accurate especially given the price point.

I will start another thread asking for a different scope recommendation.

Seeing these scopes on sale... I'm now battling with the idea of selling my Nightforce compact and replacing it with this scope for hunting.
