Picked up a used pst 2.5-10x44 from a member here. I can see what seems to be very small black specs all over the reticle. I called and left a msg for a rep to call me back at vortex. Just checking here to see if anyone has experienced this. It is a low serial number but not sure if that has something to do with it or not.

I have a 2.5-10. No dots in the reticle, but the reticle spun clockwise after a couple hundred rounds. I called and had a prepaid return label in my email in 15 minutes.
It's been perfect since then.

this is a problem that is can show up in most all scope manufacturers.
Common remedies are the phone book treatment or you can send it in.

While vortex will take care of you it is just crap in the scope. Wack it on a phone book a few times and see if that takes cares of it.

Well a week and a half later I got the scope back and its perfect. They cleaned it up and inspected it and its good to go. Glad they are a stand up company. I am very happy with the service I received.
