.308 want to build?

So I'll be honest. Im not sure where to start off looking for the pieces I would need/want for the style rifle im wanting.

What Im wanting to end up with is something that is much like the remington sps tactical or the savage 10 FCP-SR. I would like to be able to have a 10rd detachible magazine and preferibly 1 in 10 twist with a 20in barrel 22in would work. Anyway these other two rifles are no where to be found rite now and thought I might try the build thing out and get exactly what I want out of the deal.

So if you guys could get me started with the where to look and what you would suggest for barrel,trigger,stock/what not. Also if you can get barrels that are threaded for builds that would also be a piece that id want for down the road.

timmney trigger not sure on spelling, i hear alot of people talking about, aics or a manners, badger bolt knob, harris or atlas bipod with pod lock.

you know what kind of glass you are putting on it? also you can just go to remingtons website with the ID and ask them to order it for you, how i got my 5R

i have 0 knowledge on barrels, so can't help you there

on the glass, I would like another mark 4 or nightforce but dont think the piggy bank going to let me. probly order from the custom shop at leupold. a vx3 3.5-10x40 with m1 knobs and TMR redical. be around $620.

so when you order from remington do the go on msrp or what?

pretty much, i din't see a mark up on any of my items it was ethier at msrp or lower.

edit everything i got was pretty much just delivered to my gun shop, not bought through them, turns out most of the stuff i got was from vendors here on the hide

If you are looking for a FCP-SR check grabagun.com I got one off there for $930 and picked it up from my FFL yesterday.
