Gunsmithing Broughton 5C

Hey guys,

Im putting a new barrel on my remingotn 700 in 7mm-08.
I've been looking at the broughton 5C barrel 22" with a 1:9" twist. Have you guys ever used this barrel before? What do you think of it?

I have on on a 7WSM from GAP. It is an amazing shooter.

I have one on my 284 and its a "Hammer". I love it!! I wanted a 28" barrel and paid extra to get one but the instructions on the barrel said to remove close to 3"s so I only wound up with a 27" barrel but I am very happy with how it shoots. I have shot groups at 1000yds off the hood of my P.U. that are in the 5" range with a 2" vertical spread or less.

Great barrels, what weight bullet you going to shoot?

Thats great news, I plan on shooting the 162 gr Amax exclusively.
