Gunsmithing noob stock question

Lookin to upgrade the stock on my rem 700 LTR. Lookin at McMillan A3 or manners T2. Question: Do both stocks come with aluminum bedding? How much gunsmithing is required to install them properly...especially the McMillan? Would appreciate any input and help.

i believe you can order either with pillars installed.
you can install them yourself but if you aren't sure what
you are doing it can get messy or worse you can glue you
action to your stock

Manners offers a mini chasis which is an aluminum bedding block and combo detachable mag. McMillan can be ordered with pillars installed, but should still be bedded.

Ok, lets back up a bit...

Manners and McMillan are both Fiberglass(shell)-over-Foam(core) and don't come with bedding blocks.

H&S Precision and Bell&Carlson are the stocks that come with bedding blocks already installed and machined so you just drop in your action.

As for $ to install? - About $200 for a quality glassbedding job. I glassed my Mcmillan M40 back in 98' and the Brownells Acraglass is as solid now as it was then. Youtube has plenty of vids on how to do bedding jobs if your feeling adventurous as well as professionals showing off their work.
