Anyone have suggestions on who is filling orders on primers. I have hit the wall looking for BR2's and large pistol primers. out of stock , no backorder is getting old.

Thanks in advance

Re: Primers

I am at the point here where I have to just pay the local prices...everywhere I look online is out

def let us know if you find some!

Re: Primers

Bruno have F210M but they raise price around 150%

$31 ---> $51

Anyways I won't buy it without fair price.

Re: Primers

Depends on how desperate you are i guess. They were outof 210m but had at least 5 boxes of 210. Not sure on the price of those but they had at least a dozen boxes of cci #34 primers and 200 primers. I paid $49 for a box of #34 primers. Not cheap, but when you need them and no one else has them...

Re: Primers

I am going to shoot up to hamburg Cabelas see what I can find up there. Might have to start buying shit we dont need to trade for things we do.

Re: Primers

Same as the last time... I suspect that most the manufacturers are making ammunition first and since that is flying off the shelves the next logical thing is a lack of components.

I imagine it will be a year or so before this stabilizes.

Re: Primers

One of the major importers here in Oz, had their order of primers cancelled. (12 million primers)

The panic buying over the pond has a flow on effect.
Needless to say I saw what was coming and have bought a few extra primers. Nothing crazy, enough to last me 7 months.

Still showing in stock and they will only let you get 5K per order. not bad considering no one else has them for for that price and in stock.

Re: Primers

Im having the same problems i have wlr and wlrm's. I just bought a new rifle and the load he had worked up uses br2s. This sucks

I think I got butt raped by Bruno's. I had an order in for 8k CCI 200 and 4k CCI 400 for a couple of weeks (buying for my brother in-law too). The prices were $45/1k which seemed a tad high but not too bad. When it came time to fill my order they did not have the full quantities requested so they called me. He said that he had just received 210M (what I normally use) and had some BR4 so I upped my order to 10k 210M and 5k of the BR4 but did not ask the price (I figured they would be about the same as they were already over priced). $60/1K for the BR4 and $50/1k for the 210M which is a LOT more than what I paid powder valley for my last batch. Also charged $32 for shipping which seemed rather high since it was just coming from Phoenix to San Diego... So hazmat and shipping added about $4/1k of primers. I would say that I wouldn't buy anything else from there but I had also placed a back order for four 8lbs jugs of Varget @ $160ea (now I see they want $172.61 for a 8lb jug back order price...) I would probably cancel it if I could find it anywhere else. Just reinforces that Powder Valley is the way to go... Now I am just waiting on the SMK bullets I had ordered from Palmetto State Armory a couple of weeks ago.

Re: Primers

I finally got my press for Christmas and could not find any primers to use it. That sucked. I finally found some BR2's last week at Bass Pro Shops, but just re-checked and they are out. Good luck!

Re: Primers

justplinkin - find anything up at Cabelas? If not shoot me a PM might be able to help you out as it seems you are local. I have a couple 100 packs I could probably part with one or two depending on many you need.

Also might be worth checking into Tanners Sporting every now and then as that is where I was buying them. Unfortunately they have been out last couple times I checked as well.

I have put a few orders in lately at Natchezss. They have seemed to be real good so far with keeping the prices the same. But unfortunately they seem to be in the same boat as everywhere else.

Yeah it's making me really regret that time two months back when the guy behind the counter says "How about some primers to go with that 8lbs of 4831" and I say "No thanks I should be good on primers for now" womp womp

Re: Primers

I didn't find anything at Cabelas. If I do, I am not afraid to share the wealth. I have a few hundred left myself. I live north of Doylestown and my wife and I have a business in town. I will try and swing threw Quinbys in Dublin and Target world in chalfont see what i can find.
