Well, about a year of my time and all of my money, and it's finally done. Jared and the guys at APA just finished bedding the rifle and installed their bolt knob (which kicks all kinds of ass btw) which was my very last step in finishing this thing. The rifle began life as a Rem 700 PSS, but here's the list of parts that makes the rifle you see:

-Rem 700 action. Trued up with recoil lug pinned.
-Krieger #17 hv 5r @ 21 3/4 inches.
-McMillan a4
-APA rtg bottom metal
-APA bolt knob
-Nightforce 5.5-22x56mm NPR1 scope
-Nightforce 20 MOA base
-Badger max 50 rings (way to heavy want smaller ones)
-Timney trigger @ 3 LBs
-Harris bipod
-Turner NM sling.

haha yea some people think its BS some don't. Personally I think why not. If nothing else its a good handy length for a barrel, and hell if they were right then cool.
