Howa 1500 Trigger Adjustment

Good morning all,
I just adjusted the trigger on my Howa, and was able to get it down to 1.5 lbs. just by adjusting the screws. The safety works fine, there is almost no creep, and everything operates smoothly while firing my snap caps. I heard that most people had to hone down the face of the trigger itself to get it below 2 lbs. and to have the safety work properly. Should I be concerned that I did not have to do any more work to get my trigger to where I wanted, and has anyone else had the same luck?

I did the same adjustment without any honing. If the trigger is at the desired pull weight, and the safety works, then your fine.

That is what I was thinking, and I am very happy with the way it feels rightnow. So I guess I will leave well enough alone.
