I just got an order from Berry's today for some bullets and the box was tore up and retaped. I opened it up and wouldn't you know that half my order is missing. I waited almost a month for these and now I have to deal with this shit. I already emailed Berry's to see how they want to handle it but it just pisses me off.

Damn, that sucks. Last year I had an order from BCM show up with one side of the box just about ripped completely off, BCG, SF brake, charging handle, stuff like that, somehow not one thing was missing. Wish you the best in resolving your problem.

At least they tried to tape it back up. I have watch UPS walk up my drive with a box that had parts falling out at his feet. When he got to the porch I asked wtf and he said he woulda mark it as damaged and walked off. I really don't think any of them give a shit, it's just their job to get the shit off the truck.

Nothing about the USPS is worth a damn here either. UPS is ok, but they deliver to my place at like 8:30-9:00 pm, which is annoying. Only had good experiences with Fedex.

haha, I had the same thing happen, except, mine was for an order of 500 DTAC 115s.
Well....some poor bastard apparently had to pick them up individually off the ground or out of whatever sorting machine they were in as they showed up in a giant nylon sack, along with the destroyed box, with a letter from the Postmaster apologizing for the condition of the "shipped goods" I think I only lost around 40 out of the 500 bullets.

USPS lost 1500 155 scenars, they were nice enough to send the shipper a pic of the destroyed box but not nice enough to pick up the bullets and send them to me

I had an issue with them a few weeks ago. Sold some brass to a guy- shipped it off. Two weeks later I have a buyer asking about his brass, I get a letter from USPS that my package was ripped open at one of their facilities, and the contents "disappeared". They did, however, send me back the top of the box with a letter saying what happened, and I could fill out a forum and they would check to see if they could find the missing items (YA, RIGHT!). (FYI have to fill that out to get shipping reimbursement). I ended up sending the buyer his money back with an apology.

That might explain that " 8 billion dollars in debt " thing. I read on the yahoo att page that if the post office closed more branches it is going to hurt " black " ( people ) jobs. BLACK JOBS? I've read that blacks are only about 13% of the total US population but hold about 25% of all federal jobs; around DC its almost 50% according to the same source. Wouldn't surprise me. As it's been noted by many others - Star Parker, Alan West and Ambassador Alan Keyes - in one way or another, slavery ended in the south after the civil war, but it started right up again in the north shortly after.

Then we switched to FedEx and its like night and day. FedEx is awesome, and their CS is top notch. With that being said, in an effort to pinch penny's, my company decided they wanted to try USPS. I explained to them that this was a horrible idea. They pushed and I would push back. Finally they agreed to a "trial run" with USPS. After two weeks of problem after problem, management decided fuck em, and were back to 100% fedex. When I order something via the net (either from private party or company), I always try to make contact and atleast TRY to get them to ship it FedEx. I would rather pay an extra couple dollars, have a tracking number, and confidence in the shipping company.

I had an order go out Thursday from UPS to Atlanta, I shipped it through the local Ups store, anyway I received a call Friday afternoon from the UpS hub, stating that my package was left at the hub. They then told me they would send it next day air . So in all actuality , it got there sooner than ground. I couldn't complain.

As one has said be glad you do not deal with DHL. I have a $208,000 claim in to them for a aircraft part they destroyed and then re boxed!

I am almost not wanting to say anything as not to jinx myself but i have been using usps flat rate boxes for years and is the only way i will send stuff if it will fit in 1 of the boxes. Always their in 3 days or less and have been 100% satisfied. I still tape up all edges of the box good and not just rely on the glued flap in front to where you seal the box. I hope you get your stuff squared away.

Now that I think about it, the one box that was mangled by USPS I've got was a box of ammo. Everything else has been good, and they're the only way I ship anything international.

What is really funny? Prior to the civil war, the Pony Express delivered letters FASTER in many cases (routes less than 300 miles)than the USPS does today!
They didn't have computers, planes, trains, roads, 100,000s of employees, phones, ipads, etc., etc. My guess is the employee to number of letters ratio was also smaller. They did have a very tough hiring policy-the kind of thing that wouldn't be allowed today, but they did get the mail through-fast even by todays standards....just saying.
