Yeah, that was a stupid typo on my part--sorry. I have thirty-rounders for the 5.56, but of course for the .308 it's just twenty.
Man, never mind water shortages--people can't seem to figure out what to do with themselves just when the power goes out for a few hours. I refuse to accept the notion that this is the way humans were meant to live.

A friend of mine bought 30 round mags for his FN 308. Too bad they didn't work reliably. Same thing happened to another friends 25 round M14 mags.. High capacity mags that don't work are pretty much useless. Reloading to a reliable 20 rounder would take alot less time than clearing frequent feeding issues.

My Brownell's backorder is supposed to come in within a couple of weeks they say... I wish I had ordered double so I could hook you guys up with non-gouge prices. I'd sell 'em for what I got 'em for, but I only got enough for me at the time.
If you are patient, Brownell's said they hope to be caught up on backorders by end of Feb. or early March (they say!) and when that happens they plan on putting them back up for sale. But I doubt they'll last long when they do.
According to CNN, the senate committee focused on background checks during the hearing yesterday, and they said that an AWB is probably impossible, and a high cap mag ban is highly unlikely as well. Good news. But then she went on to report on straw purchasers and making that prosecutable, but her definition of a straw purchaser was an individual sale! These people are clueless...

The stubbies and the 10/20s are made from 20 round mags so my guess is when the supply of 20s ran out, so did the conversions. Magpul says that they will have their own 10 round 308 pmags (not 20 round conversions) available in late Q1...
