Way out West Thank Goodness
Which is more important? For the sake of this poll lets count the minimum specs to be greater than these specs which have kind of become the defacto minimums people seem to expect lately

Signal to Noise Ratio: 25.0 min.
Photocathode Response: 2000 min.
Halo: .9 or better
Electronic Background Input: 2.5 max
Resolution: 64-72 lp/mm min.
Max Spots Allowed in Each Zone, Spot Size(in.) ZONE
Spot size Zones 1 - 2 - 3
->.012-.015 -- 0___0___0
->.009-.012 -- 0___0___1
->.006-.009 -- 0___2___2
->.003-.006 -- 0___2___3

So if at tube has at least these specs if not higher, which is more important Really high Specs or Image clean?

Well, this is very interesting. Hummmmmmmmm the things that make ya go hummmmm

So basically if a tube is a, (and I will call the minimum specs I have laid down "a very good performer") most consumers will take a clean image over a super performing tube with spots?
