I appreciate a good leaf sprung vehicle for its simplicity. I have a scrambler with a 5.0 in it. No pics handy because it hasn't been used much lately. It's sprung over with an extra 4" running on early bronco axles and 35s.

I'm not sure what is more expensive to run these days the old heep or a gas gun.

Guns and Jeeps, if I'm not at work then I'm spending money on one of the two...

Re: Any Rock Crawer/ Mud boggers on here?

Yup I wanted to leave it simple , I did however go with longer leaf's in the back and ordered super soft custom made spring so it wouldnt beat the shit out of me. Made a huge difference. It rides better then my new tundra now as crazy as it sounds.

Thats for sure I could have put a down payment on a house for the price it took to build this thing.

Matt you got any cool pics, also where do you wheel?

Re: Any Rock Crawer/ Mud boggers on here?

Ok cool wasn't sure, I was tapping into some old info there.

Re: Any Rock Crawer/ Mud boggers on here?

Nothing a cool as some of these, but I rock an old 79 Dodge Ramcharger. 318, 4bbl on 33's. NP203 fulltime 4x4. Mostly trails and some muddin. I love that my top comes off from the windshield back. Nothing like open air wheelin.

Not near as cool as yours but here is my old flattie doing a bit of wheeling. It was upgraded a bit and has a fuel injected 350 stuffed under the hood.

Sold - 85 Dodge PowerRam 360. The big rock drain in the pics had destroyed a dudes brand new $60k Jeep JK and he couldnt make it up it, destroyed his axle. I probably had a whole $1200 in the truck.

Re: Any Rock Crawer/ Mud boggers on here?

Sweet pics guys! That drain looks bad ass I want to try it, as for the flattie Thats bad ass. That short of a wheelbase and those tires that thing is probably un-stoppable.

Im a huge fan of mudding and offroading. right now i have a 2002 F250 Powerstroke. I have done a coil spring conversion on the front end so it rides a little nicer. has 8" lift with 38" tires. I do have to say the the toyo open country mudterains have been great. also have a tuner and intake. much more in the works for that. ill post some pictures when i can.

^^^ It happens to the best of us ;) ^^^

as a side note, how do you like that fold over tent? I have been eye balling them, but havent been able to see how people like them.

been working on my 71 bronco for a while, hopefully have it on the trails next year
