Thats a big ass rattlesnake! How long? How many rattles?

Re: Snake We grow them big in the south!

Damn, you could host a Thanksgiving dinner with a snake that size.

Re: Snake We grow them big in the south!

Thats a big sum bitch. Is it worth anything for the skin? I thought the Anacondas and pythons only got that big.

Re: Snake We grow them big in the south!

oldest trick in the book. Looks big when the snake is about 3-4' closer to the camera than the guy is.

You can make a 150lb boar look like a 450lb boar if you sit about 5' behind it when a picture is taken haha

Re: Snake We grow them big in the south!

It may be," the oldest trick in the book" to make it look bigger. That thing is incredible. If dirty dave would have seen that thing when it was close up he would have really been dirty dave. What a trophy. The only good snake is a dead snake. Keep killing those suckers.

Re: Snake We grow them big in the south!

And some people think their is no need for a 30 round mag. I couldn't kill that thing enough times to make me happy.

Re: Snake We grow them big in the south!

I am of the thought process it does not matter if it is 10' or 10" that thing is to big to be around me. looks like it would make a nice belt, be it for me or if it is little guy then a belt for my wife.

On second thought I think your onto something. In fact how do we know the man in the photo isn't a midget, standing next to a small version of a F150.

Either post another photo with a girl in a bikini holding the snake or I'm am going to have to assume this is a lie.

Re: Snake We grow them big in the south!

Nice snake. Did you grill him up?

Maggot will be along shortly to tell you it is a western diamondback.

Re: Snake We grow them big in the south!

Still decent look at them rattles he'd be good eating. Used to catch them around the barracks and cook sunday lunch with them.

I am aware. I am just giving you a friendly ribbing due to your other thread.

Re: Snake We grow them big in the south!

Re: Snake We grow them big in the south!

Forced perspective.
However while a Western Diamond back can grow to 6 ft, an eastern version can be up to 8 ft.
Trust me, finding one of these at your feet only 2 feet long still seems like a big ass-snake.

Re: Snake We grow them big in the south!

Man that snakes got a lot of buttons! I too would hold that sucker a pronounced distance away with the head still attached.
Killed 4 last summer , not one over 8 buttons. All of them rattled. The 4 button almost struck, untill he met my trucks pistolgrip 12ga. 4 rnds of dove load made damn sure he was dead.
