Edit: let me elaborate; if your looking for generic work, such as adding a simple brake and such, there are plenty of people I can point you to in SA. however if you need to time your brake, or need precision spec threading, there is no one I know of to send you to. If it were me i'd contact zak at thunderbeast and ask who he'd reccomend for precision work, and ship your barrel there.
(I know zak often reads these , if you are please feel free to chime in)

That's too easy! Drive over to LaGrange and take it to Scout Supply. They'll be doing some work for me real soon.

Templar Tactical in Spring, TX. I sent my Remmy 700 .338 to them for a APA Fat Bastard Brake, custom thread protector, Timney trigger and I have a can on the way for my .338 as well. Just email them and they are pretty quick to reply. Curtis and Cody are easy to work with. Spring, TX is just outside of Houston. Most cans are 5/8-24 threading. Get a custom thread protector and a Cerakote job while you send it off. Templar Tactical Fireams [email protected] Hope this helps.

David at Dury's is qualified, but expensive... quoted me $350.00 to thread a Rem 700. I'm sure it would be quality work, but I feel like that's almost double the going rate.

Jack is GTG. I just picked up 3 that he threaded and one that i had a qd break pinned on. He does great work.
