I see the new Berger manual is missing 200 gr Hybrid load data for the 300 WM. Has anyone tried this in theirs and what specs?

thanks,
Jason

Re: 200 Berger Hybrid loads for 300 WM

I tried some, and shot very well. I used Win. brass, CCI LRM,70.0gr. of RL 22. Shot less than 1moa at 600. don't know seating depth but it shot well. Then I measured seating depth and backed them off .001 and they don't shoot werth a squat. I think I was jamming them in and when the weather breaks I will start running them into the lands.

I'm running them in mine.

78.5 grains H1000
Rem brass
CCI mag primer
.010 jam

3040fps jout of a 28 inch Brux.

They shot roughly 1/2 moa for me at 800yds.

Please start a couple grains lower if you give it a whirl. Pressures are mild in my rifle.

Thanks Guys,

It looks like they like a jam into the lands? I thought I read somewhere that Bryan Litz recommended a 0.015" jump for the Hybrids and work down from there? I'll start with a 0.010" jam and work down from there.

thanks,
Jason
