Nothing at all wrong with them as long as you can still make them shoot, once your chamber grows a jump tolerant pill like a Hybird or SMK is the ticket.

Agreed. Got 2 Crusaders. Throats are short , chambers TIGHT. Never had a problem. Mag feed just fine. Now on the other hand I've got an ltr that Is 2.963" with a 168 vld .308 Sucker is long.
But in the case of the .264 rifles aren't their shoulders supposed to be perfect for the vld bullets. Like the 6.5 lapua is almost identical to the creedmor case. Just curious really?? I'm not on par with the 260 Remington specs. Even the damn amaxs look like narrow missiles

Maybe just a simple email to Berger might get the info you need, They have been good about returning emails in the past, can't speak of phone contact myself.
I chatted with John, owner of Gunstop in Minn, last week, he seems to think something is going on at Berger, he made reference to a couple of years ago their jacket machine went down and things got behind, not saying that is what's up today.
7mm 180 hybrids are in short supply also.

Could be something to this. I spoke with swampy at swampworks last week about some 130 jlk vlds that I ordered back in dec. he said that he couldn't get any orders out bc the j4 jackets weren't available from Berger. I see a conspiracy!!

Thanks guys. I have tried the 130 vlds with good success and then tried the 140 hybrids for fun and first load shot bugholes so i just stuck with them. If all else fails i might give the 140 vlds a try or go back to the 130s.
