Just curious who all else might have one? I haven't shot it a whole lot as I haven't had it long but its an accurate fun little Semi.

I've got the classic Swat model and really like it. extremely accurate and actually feels and looks like a real gun.

Yeah I was impressed with the accuracy and it actually feels solid. Definitely feels like a true rifle unlike my brothers M&P.

Great gun
I hated how heavy the stock trigger was
Threw in a modified AR hammer spring and got it down to 3 or 4 lbs(ish)

Re: Any of you have a Sig 522

I love mine as well, its basically the only .22lr I shoot these days. Personally, I have more fun with it than my Volquartsen barreled Remington that I may end up selling down the road.

One thing to note is the stock is a little low and cheaply made so with optics mounted you're going to have to use a chin weld. I saw a guy at the range who bought a metal adapter and replaced the original stock with a Magpul PRS which gave a better cheek weld.

At 300 meters most of my shots using cci minimag are hits on a 12" plate. I have a SWAT edition as well but feel it is a bit front heavy.

Overall the rifle is excellent. It eats every type of ammo, even cycling subsonics like Wolf MT and Eley CS. The only time I had a misfeed was due to sheer gunk buildup from over 500 rounds fired without cleaning.

Love mine! I was just running it the other day in the bitter cold

I love mine as well also. The stock does make a good cheek weld a little tricky sometimes. I dropped a Primary arms aimpoint clone on it that I had laying around. Works very well for that application. I just removed the riser out of it and that was enough to bring the line of sight down to where I could get a good cheek rest.

Love mine, it's the tactical model. I feed it CCI AR tactical and with an aimpoint clone ( from primary arms) can bugger up the bullseye no problem at 50yds. Never a hiccup......LOVE it!

Re: Any of you have a Sig 522

Done a lot of work with my 522; they rock and role.
The Classic is great for standing shooting but if fitted with a bipod can double group as the barrel is not free floating. The front end flexes too so any light/laser isn't that great.
The Swat is the better for bipod use as it can be made more solid with a bridge. Better for light/laser fitting too; just a little front heavy as already said.
Best is to free float the barrel with an aftermarket front end. Then they will tack drive from the bench.
The standard stock can be improved but an aftermarket one can be better.
No true hold open after last round and that resting the mag can produce jams are the two real negatives. Generally they never jam!!
Triggers can be improved with a replacement spring.
Lastly, a UK chap made some extended safeties; best thing ever. Unfortunately, he isn't going to do any more.

I still think the Sig 522 is the best of it type and getting one really is a no brainer.

Don't really like the ergonomics of mine but can't complain about the reliability. Best semi-22 I have shot. Got rid of my 556 but still have the 522.

I do.

Above is the last time I shot the rifle with glass on it at 100 with Match ammo.

I have since trashed the 10 round mag that always gave me issues. Doubt I'll be able to find another one given the climate right now...I still want to get dedicated glass and mount that I won't end up selling...

When not running the 20" barrel, it wears a Primary Arms Micro cowitnessed to the irons. It will put 5 touching offhand slow fired at 25 yards. I only ever had issues with the faulty mag (which I had modified, I'll own up to that one.) otherwise it will eat anything/everything. With the Buffer Tube conversion and riser on the MOE stock it nearly mimics the cheekweld of an AR, the top rail and cheekweld are damn close. It's a blast to shoot, and the only way I'd ever be able to afford running a 1-5 drill....

Everybody loves this rifle when we go shooting, it is an unquantifiable amount of fun.

Re: Any of you have a Sig 522

I didn't think there were a whole lot of mods out there for this gun other than pulling the fake gas block and throwing a laser in it. I just recently picked up a 50 rnd drum for it but not sure if I will ever actually use it
