Gunsmithing Muzzle Break Question!

Has anyone ordered one of these or used them?

If so how are they? I love the look of them but Just wondering if they are worth buying.

Plan on attaching it to my .308, r700 Sps Heavy barrel.

Or if you guys know of any other ones that are worth buying would love to hear about it

Did you notice that these are thread on, and apparently you use the "clamp" portion to lock it in place? Badger Ordnance makes a true clamp on that I am sure is good if it is like any of their other products.

It looks interesting.
Timing can be adjusted by the screws. I would hope the devise times well when screwed down and not have to be backed off 1/2 turn. If this is the case, high pressure gasses and debris will "pile-up" in front of the muzzle/ back of the brake. The deposits could cause the brake to be a real bear to remove,and there would be no telling what this gap would do to accuracy.( if it has to be backed off of your rifle)
I'd ask them what the reduction in recoil with you load would be.
Some make more noise than reduce felt recoil.

I have an FTE on my .308, big reduction in felt recoil and muzzle rise.

Just so the OP knows. The FTE requires a 5/8-24 threaded section and a straight section for installation.

I did try the true clamp on to end of barrel one from him and never had any issue of it flying off and it seemed to work well as far as recoil was concerned. And his service is good, always important info gotta toss it in. While the recoil was reduced and it stayed where I put it, I never really liked the looks or the idea cause let's be honest it wasn't the right way (meaning the clamp on non-threaded barrel way) to go about it. And the machining wasn't exactly "precision" bringing up questions concerning actual accuracy of the gun bei.g effected whether it has any effect or not it was still in the back of my mind. That said I found a RAD brake (clamp on threads instead of barrel for sale on here and after having my barrel shortened and threaded installed it and never looked back. I use the old clamp on barrel eBay brake for a bolt disassembly tool now so wasn't a complete waste of money...
