You are going to want something in the 1.125" or taller range. (measured from the top of the scope base to ring center-line.) Whether you want to run scope caps/covers will change this some so be sure to take that into account. Looking at what others run can be misleading as all scope bases are a bit different in height and folks may use different caps etc. Also take note of the actual scope objective diameter as they are all different diameters as 50mm designates glass size only.
To be sure, take a look at the formula on the "technical" page of our web site. The number I gave is an estimate.
EDIT to add formula: (All units in inches. Ring height measured from top of base to scope center line. Sloped bases add .035" to height every six inches objective extends from base.)
For Evolution chassis: (actual objective diameter/2) + .22 - base height = required ring height

Thanks for the formula, it definitely narrows down the guesswork in getting rings. May I suggest a built-in calculator on your website where the numbers can be plugged in to give an immediate answer?
I've only been here a short period of time, and I have seen Kyle state that same exact thing many many times.....
I think with all the (read TOO MANY) scopes and different objectives - it would be pretty hard to come up with a calculator - that would seem to me that should be something that each scope manufacturer would / should provide IMO....
I use the Aadland one piece from Jon here on the hide. EXCELLENT mount and I have both 50mm and 56mm scopes and they work fine. There is also a built in level.
