Yeah, this is mostly old news. The HS50s Iran got from Steyr were actually the earlier rifle Heinrich Fortmeier designed that eventually lead to the HS50. In this case, they've more or less tried to scale up that design.
14.5mm Soviet has really impressive ballistics for ELR and HTI applications, but I don't think anyone's making match ammo for them

that rifle looks cheaply made in iran
almost like these do it yourself .50bmg single loaders
and yeah that is a nightforce....
they have straw buyers in the us, europe or who knows where else
and quite frankly for most any product i bet you can find a distributor who is willing to circumvent export restrictions for a premium profit...
