I've heard the mil/moa argument enough times to actually think I'm an oldtimer on this forum.

So, without further ado;

How many companies actually build a usable MOA reticle with MOA adjustments?

I can think of two right off the top of my head;

USO
Nightforce.

How many companies build a MIL reticle (any variation/quantity) with MIL adjustments

USO,
Schmit & Bender
Nightforce(?)
Vortex
Leupold

How many companies just build a mil reticle

Everybody.

What I'd like from you is a company and scope they build that is moa/moa or mil/mil

I DO NOT CARE WHICH IS BETTER! Just name a company and scope(s).

Re: How many of each?

Schmidt & Bender did an MOA version of their p4f reticle for the 3-20x50 and 5-25x56. I don't believe any of the 3-20x's have shipped, but the 5-25x's have. Ask me how I know!

Yeah you can get the EBR-1 in the PSTs or the Razor. But the Razor also has the option of the EBR-2B reticle

Re: How many of each?

Oh and I forgot they have a third choice. The Viper HS LR has a FFP reticle called XLR that is MOA based.

Got that now, thanks. 34 moa useable horus style reticle.

What is with all the odd thicknesses? 3.13 moa for the main crosshair. 5.63 for the stadia off of them. .45 moa Open in center .39 big dot, .26 little dots. That's gotta make you think...or be good at punching buttons on your calculator.

Re: How many of each?

No, BDC's fall into the same category as calling a duplex a moa reticle. They are, but not nearly as useable. This one is more useable than most BDC's I see.

The 'odd' moa measurements don't relate well to quick math and adjustments.

Re: How many of each?

If I haven't read the specs wrong Bushnell's Elite Tactical also have mil/mil.

Re: How many of each?

Otero51,

Thanks, another one to keep in mind. I know when we're talking scopes here most are referring to high end. Most of the lower end scopes I've run across over the years that had a mil-dot reticle were moa adjusted. With their Elite series of scopes Bushnell is no longer 'bottom of the barrel' as far as quality goes.
