Hey guys,

Just received a pic from the first victim to opt for the Vortex barrel fluting. A personal friend of mine. Thanks Bill. The rifle is chambered in .260AI. Bighorn action, Kreiger barrel, and McMillan A5 stock. All that is left to do is to coat the barreled action. Very nice looking rifle. IMHO.

Wow! That is amazing looking. Love the chamber selection. 140 Berger at 2950fps in a SA with a COAL of 2.840 that feeds well is badass!

Great looking work Paul. Hope you show some after photos of it when it gets coated. Stock looks great also. Looks like some stuff Robar paints on their stocks.

This barrel is a Kreiger Bull Sporter I believe. It is .700 at the muzzle. I will post a pic or two after it is coated. The paint was done by our own "shortbus". He does very nice work.

That looks really cool, It got me wondering if you could do something similar to that only have it be like the remington 3 flute jobs but twisted?
I think that would look pretty cool.

He's going for Coyote Tan or FDE. Either one should look great. Should be finished by the end of the week.

Beautiful rifle. That barrel is amazing.

If only I had discovered boltfluting.com prior to sending my bolt of to STS for a basic spiral flute, and bolt handle job. I deffinately think that Vortex fluting would have looked great with my Reminton 700 LTR barrel. Oh well, I guess I will have to save that for the next build...

I look forward to seeing more pictures.
