lost wages, nv (Vegas Baby :-)
I'm thinking can I use my 358 Hawk for 500yds
to 700yds,

load date says a 225 sierra @ 2792fps with varget.
so If I can match that (max load I know I'd have to
work up to it) I wonder how it would do :)
I know there are a lot of variables but I'm wondering
if anyone had done any 358 work .

any Ideas ??

thanks

Not reading too many people shooting .358" bullets, around here at least.

What are the particulars of your rifle, etc.?

24" 1" barrel, twist unknown.

yes it is a 1895 lever action

caliber 358Hawk

I was thinking 225-250grn projectile for a higher
BC velocity would be in the 2600 to 2650 range.

I was hoping someone has done some 358 work with
maybe a 358norma mag or similar just for information.

just something to play with till my 7mm-08 comes
back from the smith :)
