Having just posted how great Aaron Roberts at Roberts' Precision is, my singular gripe is that I need a Tikka T3 barrel threaded and he doesn't do Tikka work.

Any recommendations from those who have had good experiences with a smith doing work on a Tikka?

Short Action Customs and Black Ops precision have both done Tikka's that I'm aware of. I'm sure others do as well, but I know that those shops can both handle the work and put out first quality stuff.

here`s what you can wind up with when threading a barrel for a supressor or brake, not to mention harmonic changes../.Barrel o.d and bore are usually not concentric......my T3 you can look at and I`m guessing around .030" diff..it shoots great... .300"@ 100..
    it requires 2 different careful lathe set-ups....and if the can/brake references off both surfaces.....O.D...and I.D.... it`s not a 5 min.job.

Mike & Tim @ BlackOps build a fantastic rifle. Give 'em a call.
