I still need to come up somewhere between 1/4-1/2" for proper alignment. Any suggestions? I don't care about brand names, but I am looking for quality and functionality. Multi-Cam would be a bonus though, since the rifle is getting painted in it.

(I'm happy to build up the stock under a pad as well)

I would say a triad stock pack. It adds about 3/8" which is right in your ball park and has it in multicam.

And here is a pic of it on my B&C M40 stock

+2 I bought a Triad last month. The quality is incomparable and the interior cartridge loops are a great feature.

not sure if you are opposed to drilling holes in your stock but i have enjoyed my Karsten Adjustable Cheek Piece

i got the one without the knobs to loosen / tighten and just uses two allen heads to tighten making it usable from both sides

it works great but doesn't hold extra ammo or anything and you do have to drill holes in your stock.
This was my original sps stock that i am using until i get a stock with an adjustable cheek piece.

Thanks for all the great input. I ordered myself a Triad pad earlier today. Look forward to getting it!
