So I finally have a new rifle to add to the collection on here. Pieced together by Red Hawk Rifles.

Rem 700 in .308 (not the best choice for ammo right now!)
Bell and Carlson Medalist Tactical Stock
Vortex Viper PST 6-24
Nightforce Rings
Harris Bipod

and I'm still looking for that perfect 2 stage trigger preferably sealed!

Sorry the pics aren't better they were from my phone.

Hopefully this weekend I'll get out and shoot! If the weather holds.

and if anyone does have a good idea for the 2 stage trigger that is not a Jewell let me know!

try a Huber trigger. I don't have any experience with one but many people use them in their builds on this forum

Wow! those are impressive.... and RICH! was looking for something in the $200 range but I might have to do some more research on that.

That thing is SICK! Your not kidding about .308 being tough to get. I haven't seen it in over a month anywhere.

Rifle looks good. I know the Huber seems like a lot, but well worth it once you use it. Sometimes you gotta look at it this way, you spent that much on the rifle, why settle now. If budget it tight, just wait a little longer. It will be worth it in the end.

if your not too picky Cabelas has Fed Premium for 35 a box as of yesterday.

I think the Huber is my best option though, its way too windy and dirty here to run a jewell around here. The other rifle I have it on does okay buts thats just because i'm paranoid and clean it all the time!

Not a Jewell, good two stage trigger? Huber or CG Jackson. As LCDR JGB, I never owned or shot one but heard good things about them; they don't come cheap but always worth a look, check out the reviews and keep on asking around.
Good luck and good shooting.

He is the first one to answer you, after your initial post.
Honest mistake but that's funny.
Good shooting.

Took it out today, rifle shoots great... I'm not but the rifle is! I guess I've forgotten how to shoot in the last year!

Go with the Huber. I have one and it is built well. It may cost more but you can always keep it and move it to another rifle should you ever change things up.
