is there an app for a shooters log book , i got the strelok app for ballistics and it works pretty well, i also have an app for wind directions and weather info, i was wondering if there was an app or software for a log book.
No experience with it but there is iDatabook out there. I think LonewolfUSMC has been using it and he might have something on his site with it or a review of it.
on the strelok it asks for scope height, not sure if thats just the height of the rings or i actually have to measue the center of the scope and the reciever
I use shooter on my android phone. It can gather atmospheric data and it can link with a kestrel. It also has an option to save previous data you used, I haven't used that function so I'm not sure if it's just the last session or multiple. I use the app and record in a data book from impact. IIRC shooter costs $10 in the app store.
I was using Strelok but his calcs only use G1 ballistic coeficient.
I switched over to Shooter. I costs $10 but has either G1 or G7 data for the VLD bullets, plus it will pull in weather data automatically.
So far I like it.
