Chatbox Full???

This is not a complaint, just simply a querry.

When the chatbox is listed as "Full", though the bottom says "Users active in last 10 minutes: 7 (7 members and 0 guests)" my question is:

why is it 'full'? And to that, might I suggest that the "longest idle" be the first 'booted for those who want to join in? The top right of the screen states "250" so I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that is the amount of people "connected/monitoring" the shoutbox. But that doesn't mean that they are there, either.

Or am I barking up the wrong bush? Just my thoughts, and steer me in the right direction. By the way, Frank, the site in general looks and works good. I too am also wondering about the "notifications", but that to is not a major issue at all.

Chat box full means you are viewing the box in their version of full screen mode as oppose to at the bottom of the forum.

250 is how much you can type like Twitter has a 140 character max, the Box is 250.

I am looking into the notifications,

a darker skin is coming, also we will continue to adjust the light.

mobile skin is in the works, the basic mobile version is up and running access from the lower right corner.

Tapatalk is being installed for those noisy few who bought it.

We continue to working on the site and improve it but it takes time. I am learning the software the same as everyone and I do not have all the answers. At least 3x a day I am googling a solution to a question myself.

Finally, no I am not changing your status or your post count so you can sell something. If you want to sell and don't have access you can pay to post. If you continue to hound me about it don't be surprised to find yourself banned for a year.

Obviously, I forgot to proofread. This has been about why I couldn't post in the shoutbox. I could read it, but could not post. Didn't matter how many times I would refresh the page, it made no difference. I figured that the shoutbox was "full" because it said "shoutbox full".

Ok, I was wrong there. Today, I opened up a new window, and I was able to type into the shoutbox from that one. So I simply closed the first one. My question was/is, what caused the 'not being able to add to the shoutbox'? I had changed/updated some settings of my profile yesterday, and went back and 'unchanged' that which I could remember, but that didn't seem to help.

Tapatalk is coming, ok.... I don't even know what that is.

I know you're continually working on the site, and we all appreciate it. You've the support of at least 98% of us. There are always some who bitch.

Finally, I'm not asking for any status to be changed, and can't give a rat's ass about my post count as that does not make me a man. I can and have sold things here, and have no problems with the system that you are running.
