Tikka T3 Varmint no longer sold in the US?

Cabelas carries the scout in 223 and 308. Not sure if you have one in Ohio, but they may have them in border states. They were on sale in the summer for $750 or something like that. Other than that, contact the folks at EuroOptic, I am sure they can hook you up. http://www.eurooptic.com/

I purchased a Tikka T3 varmint stainless in .223 from Europtic about one month ago. I was told that the T3 Super Varmint was no longer for sale in the U.S. They said nothing about the T3 Varmint ... except that the .308 and others were out of stock and not likely available for some time. Good luck finding one.

they are no longer imported by Beretta (per the manager of the fun store I used to work at).

Varmint, super varmint and scout are all still produced by tikka but not imported by berettausa.

I am not happy about this either.... I would love to have a heavy barrel 30-06 and 300 win mag.... ive decided to look towards savage now

If your looking at savage also take a look at ershaw. I was checking one out yesterday and the only thing I did not like was the fact that you have unload it through the top. They are talking about a different style magazine in the future not sure if clip or drop plate.

I love the stock on the sporter, it's why I bought the gun, fully adjustable, rigid, you could do a lot worse and I wouldn't trade the stock off it for anything outside a TRG stock. McMillan, manners, hs, b&c, choate, I've owned/been behind/shot my share, the sporters stock isn't going anywhere.

You could do plenty worse than to own a sporter

I've heard good things. I've also heard it doesn't come with long enough screws for the LOP spacers. Does it come with fillers for the cheek spacer? Also I've heard it's hard to get the magazines out. I think it looks pretty cool, but I wish it weren't quite so orange.

I'm considering it. an extra 500 bucks for a good looking fully adjustable stock isn't a terrible deal.

They pop up on gunbroker from time to time.

I saw them disappearing and jumped on a tac before it was too late.

I wish Beretta would get their head straight.

I heard the sporter stock is very good, there was a guy on here who sanded his down and painted it a flat black, it looked really cool, IMHO.
