How hard should I tighten a one piece scope mount down on a flattop receiver?

If you're talking about the crossbolts, 40 in/lbs. 25 in/lbs for the ring screws themselves. That's what I use.

65 for the crossbolt, and 18-20 for scopecap rings.

in/lbs for both before someone uses Ft/lbs
