Thought it would be neat to post some ammo that you found in stock if any. Just list ammo type, caliber, and price (and location of course). Everything is becoming more availible nowadays but ammo is still pretty hard to come by. But please, no cheaperthandirt bs, lets not even acknowledge those bastards.

I found some wolf 7.62x39 hp and fmj for 8.99 on budsgunshop.

various .45 hollows on ammtogo

federal 193 on natchezss for .75 a rd.... ouch

147gr 762 white box at cabelas 20.99

I would post links but I don't know if its against the rules

I was more shocked when I saw that Midway has no .223/5.56 or .308. Our good friends at CTD have green tip at a buck a round. Primers are scarce, no Varget, etc. Last year it seemed like it took 3 months after SHOT for anything to be in stock. I am starting to wonder if anybody in the larger ammo/firearms companies actually produce anything.

Saw an article a while back about a firearms and ammo manufacturer's trade association meeting that gave specifics on who was making what and what percentage of capacity they were running at. According to the article reloading supplies will be scarce for the next 3-9 months as thier entire production is going to the ammo manufacturers so they can produce loaded rounds. If memory serves, all of the big name manufacturers were at or near 100% capacity. At the time CCI was making 6 million rimfire rounds per day and even running 7 days/week it was going to take them months to fill back orders. There are also a lot of shenanigans going on at Wal Mart and the other big retailers. There's a whole thread over at AR-15.com about issues dealing with Wal Mart stores. Employees are buying stuff before its put out or saving it for their buddies, or in a couple of reported cases local shops are paying the employees to hold ammo for them so they can resell it in their store for inflated prices. I've pretty much put shooting on hold till the summer, hopefully things will die down by then. Even though I can afford it there is no way I'm paying $.89/round for PMC Bronze and $.97/round for XM193, and even don't get me started on what good .22LR is going for.

Completely agree with you !
I get a email from them every other day with their "deals".
Fock them hosers

I agree 100%!, They have recently posted on their Facebook page about how they are going to stand with others in the industry and not sell to states that are passing anti 2nd Amendment legislation. A few people, myself included, commented on it; stating too little too late, citing their $90 Pmag prices and exorbitant ammo pricing. Our comments were deleted from the thread....

Glad to see I'm not the only one they pissed off with the ridiculous price increases.

So frustrating finding ammo, well ammo that isn't insanely expensive I should say. When I was in cabelas the other day, they were saying, the popular ammos they get in are gone almost instantly. There are long lines of people picking the ammo up in the morning, same people, then they take and sell them on gunbroker and the backpage.com... They are trying to find a way to combat it, but they didn't have any ideas how.

Those morons doing that, they will over saturate the market, then when manu's catch up with demand, they will be selling that ammo at a loss. I hope they go broke.

Lets not forget that these sons of bitches stopped selling all firearms less than 3 months ago. The shooting community should view such acts as treason, and we should run these sons of bitches OUT OF BUSINESS...

cabelas had rem yellow jacket 22rf in stock at 8.99 per 100 today, stopped by ctd to look for a fast mag ar mag holder,,,man are they hosing people on ammo.223 black box ae was 7.00 pre panic around here,,,,,, the want 29.00 a box now& lots of it on the shelf. i hope it grows old there

so i know a guy that goes to canada every week for work and he stopped in a small town gas station for fuel and they sold ammo he said the shelves were full at normal prices bricks of 22lr ammo were 24 dollars this might be an isolated thing in a small store but he found it odd. is their any canadians on here to chime in? Before ppl freak he didnt buy any he knows he cant take it accross the border

Federal m193 is around $1 a pop, RWS .45 acp 230 grain ball is $0.50 a round, no 9mm, no FGMM. Sucks.

There is a little of 22-250, 257 Roberts, 41 magnum, etc. not so common stuff.

Unbelievable.

Basspro, went this morning, prices normal, limit 5 boxes per, limited supply but they are putting it all on carts, and handing out what they have, much respect to them for that. Go on a weekday at opening, there was a crowd, I went for some powder but picked up some 22wmr for normal prices. What I need are small rifle primers.

I went to a LGS the other day and found CCI 400 small rifle primers for $6.00 per 100 pack. Even though that's highway robbery, I bought all 7 packs they had as I had none and had not seen any for two months.

I am kicking my self for not picking up small pistol primers for 10 dollars a pack of 100
Academy sports had 223 for 9 bucks limit one box per customer, and I didn't even bother 20 rounds would just piss me off at the range.
