I have 100 308 lapuas was wondering if anyone would we willing to size them and neck turn and what they would charge. I have not had any luck I just crush the necks and cant find quality 260 brass.

Can't find any Win 243 or 7-08 brass? They work great and no neck turning after running thru the sizer die.

I'd do it for you for say, $20 if you pay shipping. I can resize to 7-08, then .260 and then neck turn to whatever neck thickness you want.

I did 20 308 lapua to 260 once. I probably lost 5 cases in the process. There was a learning curve. I think I started sizing 25% of the way, backing off, turn the case 90 degrees, the going the rest of the way. Not sure if that was necessary, but it helped in the small number I did.
I just did this. My DPMS 260 barrel has a generous neck diameter, allowing NATO brass to be formed into 260 and used, without the need for neck turning.
I bumped each case into the cutter on my giraud to chamfer it, but not shorten.
I annealed the cases with the giraud.
In a Dillon 650 tool head I installed a 308 FLS, 708 FLS and 260 FLS die, followed by a Sinclair expander die.
I lubed the cases up with Ivory dish detergent, dumped them in the casefeeder and let it rip.
The cases had a bit of a bulge just north of the shoulder, but it did not prevent easy chambering, and it fireformed out really nice.
Before firing, I did trim to 2.025" on the Giraud.
Zero problems going in one swipe from LC .308 to .260. Using Redding Die Wax sparingly but uniformly.
Yep...do it all the time. I haven't had any trouble but I use Imperial Sizing Die Wax. It really was an accident. I ran out of the regular spray on lube and got this little can of shit in with a trade for some reloading stuff....turns out that little can of shit works pretty good. That aint all, it lasts a hell of a long time too. I usually do as posted above and size to 7mm-08 first then to 260 and I have gone all the way to 243. 243's look a little funny until the first firing then they form in the chamber perfect. I always go ahead and anneal after sizing.

The NATO brass I have measures between 2.020 and 2.040".
After forming 260, every one needs trimming to be "in spec" for 260.
IME, 308-->260 is good to go AS LONG AS you still have ample neck clearance.
Yep, I always have to trim it too. I make my 260 out of LC 06 LR. I did get some brass once from Quantico that somebody trimmed like .020 too short so they wouldn't have to trim it as they reloaded...lately alot of guys seem to be doing that. Those cases were too short if I left them alone....
Has anyone done this with Winchester .308 brass (ditto on Federal)? I'm wondering if it'd be long enough after the process, & also what the lifespan of the re-calibered brass is like. Though I gather that it'd only be wise to anneal the cases afterwards.
I'll size one when I get home and let you know about the length...I dont see why they wouldn't give a normal service life. I have sized up or down different brass cases over the years a lot more than than just 7.62 necks down to 6.5 and it didnt necessarily shorten the useful life of the cases. I have some 17 Fireball made out of 223 cases that have been in use since 2007.....probably a dozen or so loads on them.
