After tons and tons....and tons...of test loads, found one that works perfectly for me and hoping it will for you also, or at least help you come close. Pictures will be posted tomorrow and also hopefully some chrono information, here at the results from recent testing...

44gr of Reloader 15
175gr Sierra Matchking HP BT
cases trimmed 2.810
seated length 2.836 (0.010 shorter than my factory box size)
Hornady Brass
CCI Primers

Two (3)shot groups making 1 hole groups measuring 0.465

Also shot a 0.527 with the same load above but 44.5gr of R15

Did you chrono.. the load, cause i have a 20incher and will be useng RL15 for 178AMAX, waiting for pics!! Good shot by the way!

what twist is your barrel..I have ,I think the same rifle with 1 in 10 twist..I use the same load...or close 41.3 is max loading in sierra manual....and your at 44???

You might have a different mod.or I do..Mine is 20 inch barrel with the threaded muzzle for a break...And mine is 1 in 10 for sure...It shots pretty good....Reloader 15 is gonna be hard to get I hear.??

You have the AAC model. Not the regular SPS Tacyical.

The best load for my sps tac (12 twist) in mcree chassis and jewell trigger at 1# is:

Lapua brass
CCI 200
44.9 varget
175 smk
Loaded .012 shorter than my ai mags
3 shot group was 0.129" CC @ 100yds

The load my 20" factory Tactical likes:
44.5g of varget
winchester brass
WLR primer
175 smk seated at an advarage of 2.825 COAL

I have shared this with others shooting tacticals and 20" 5r's with good results and it clocks ~2550fps, its my go to load for long range steel.

anybody running any 155s through there 20" 1 in 12"? Seems like the 175s/178s are doing pretty good for some of you. I'm currently on the fence about whether i want to get a sps tact or a aac-sd. I was looking at the aac-sd simply for the 1 in 10" twist to run the 178s primarily but would like to run some 155s also which i would think the 1 in 12" would be more suited?

I did load development for 155.5 berger full bore. They shoot good under re15 but have to be single loaded as they do not like to jump. I have a friend who shoots the 155 berger vld with good results also. Both rifles are 12 twist.

Mine likes two loads in particular:

175 SMK's
Lapua brass
Cci 200's
44.5 gr N150

And

168 SMK's
43gr n140 -this load is slow but very accurate out to 300 yards, accuracy drops off after 500 and I use the 175's

I tried the 155's but couldn't get them to shoot.

For my AAC it's 44.0 gr Varget with a 175 SMK at 2566 FPS. 5 into a nickel at 100 yards.

I am yet to find a load that my 700 SPS Tactical will not shoot one hole groups @ 100 yards with, I just use 175 SMK's, Rem Brass, Winchester large rifle primers and 43.5 grains of varget. I shoot these out to 1200 yards with good results. they work good on my Armalite AR10 SASS too.

I just got the AAC sd and haven't had a chance to mess with it. Anyone know how far they are jumping to the lands with a standard m118 LR round?

Have you tried a longer col?? My Varmint won't shoot until col is 2.900 or longer. 2" groups at 100 yards if I load them to 2.850 but 1/2" at 100 yards loaded to 2.910 with 43.2 grains of Varget pushing a 175 smk...

I found a "goody". 47.1 BLC 2 with a 175 target VLD loaded at 2.965 COAL. Can't remember ogive ... Don't have my dope chart but it was a tad bit slow but very accurate. I never dreamed I'd take my "deer rifle " out to 925 yards ... But I did and with AWSOME results. Better than Varget and PP 2000mr.

I use 44 grains of RL15 nosler 168HBT Same hole won't hurt to try it I haven't started loading for my armalite sass yet If you have a load I could try that would be great thanks ok you use the varget in the sass ok I see it now

I will find out when our local range re opens. They closed for lead removal right as I started working this load up. I know reloader shows a max of 50 gr's. I have no pressure signs what so ever. They show like 2760 ish with 50gr and a 150gr bullet, but we know that can be a little off from time to time.

Im running the same rifle and so far my best group has been .58 5 shot group at 100 yards and that was for initial testing. I am taking it out again this weekend to test more
