Re: Tom Givens - 2 Day Combat Pist. II- 26 Oct -NC

You will need a good handgun, holster, belt, and magazine pouch, at least three magazines, a ball cap and concealment garment (vest, jacket, windbreaker, etc), eye and ear protection, and rain gear (we train rain or shine). A cooler with soft drinks, snacks and lunch will be needed. We will not be leaving the range campus for lunch.
You will need a quality handgun and gear. It is a good idea to bring a second gun just like your primary, in case something breaks on your primary gun. Please bring good quality ammunition. You will shoot better, your gun will function better, and you will learn faster.

Here is a little information on Tom Givens:

Before coming to Rangemaster full-time in 1996, Tom completed a 25-year career in law enforcement and specialized security work.

For over thirty-five years Tom's duties have included firearms instruction. He has trained security officers; law enforcement officers at the local, state, and federal level; and foreign government agents.

In case you missed it, this is the level 2 class of the level 1 class Tom Givens is teaching at the same location in July. If would like to sign up for this class in addition to the one in July, feel free. We only need 20% to hold your spot.

I have been asked recently to clarify the 'nonrefundable 20% deposit'

If the class is canceled due to the instructor being sick or we don't meet the minimum requirement to make the class go, the 20% will be refunded.

If you cancel your seat in the class for whatever reason, the 20% is not refundable.

Hope this helps clear things up a little bit. If there's anything else, please let me know. Thanks!

Don't forget that if you're interested in this class, you need to have first taken the level 1 class. We're about a month out (give/take) and we still have a little space left. Let me know if you have any questions.

Update: students don't have to have Combative Pistol I first. They can use a comparable class like Gunsite 250, Thunder Ranch DH1, etc as the required prior training. Just no beginners in this class.
