Love it. When I first saw the McRee chassis I wasn't a fan of it at all. I was in search of a good chassis system without the long wait or something that would break the bank. The McRee grew on me over time and I finally pulled the trigger. This is the latest iteration of the stock and at first I didn't like the grip pattern he did on the front. Actually having it in person now, it's not bad at all. All I've done is replace the grip with a BCM one and added the front rail.

I mocked up my un-barreled Surgeon action and it fits like it was supposed to be there. Pretty solid feeling but things may change once barreled up. The action block area looks different compared to other chassis stocks on the market. The folding mechanism is also rock solid with no signs of play.
Weight on my shipping scale was ~5.25 pounds as pictured.

Sorry about the lighting. I have shitty lights in the living room.

Just got mine on Monday and its awesome!. All mounted up, can't wait to shoot it this weekend.

I picked one up this Christmas, after I saw the $100 off sale - what a deal. Same exact stock you have. Don't have as much time with it on the range as I'd like, but so far I love it.

Now the million dollar question. What color do I want for the barreled action? Eventually I'll either get the stock dipped in ATACS or Multicam. Not sure yet but I need a compatible color on the BA.

I got a Model 1 in black on Tuesday. Dropped my Savage 10 on it and it is nice. I played with the stock adjustability and like every bit of it. Also like the interchangeable grips. Definitely going to swap the grip from the A2 style. Just have to mount my Vortex PST and get ot to the range.

I am very happy with mine so far. I will change the pistol grip at some point, but haven't decided exactly which way I want to go with that yet. It will probably require some modification to the grip though. For the money the chassis has a lot of features.

It's bang for your buck indeed. Scott could definitely charge MUCH more for what you're getting. The only downside is that it's not aesthetically pleasing to all who lay eyes on it.

Someone posted an SAC build on a Mcree a couple weeks ago.... Barreled action was Patriot Brown with the Mcree being FDE. It looked killer! Best color combo I've seen on a Mcree...

The Mcree is one of the only chassis/stocks that is a true drop in and go. I have been very impressed with how well they hold zero and the accuracy that can be achieved. Scott has the design of the inlet down for sure!

I am a fan and will use on my next build. For the price you will not find a stock with more options. Have one on order for my Long action WSM build. Very excited.

+1 on the Patriot brown or a Burnt Bronze is really cool as well. Would look fantstic with either.
