Last component I need for my reloads. I have a handful, but can't seem to find any in stock anywhere. Anyone have any idea where I could find some?

Goodbrass.com has 1X fired .308 match brass in various flavors. Not super cheap, but not gougey either.

Everything I saw onI Big Brass is once-fired machine gun brass. I have heard, but not personally experienced, that using machine gun brass is not too good (real loose chambers, or something like that). Just passin' it on for what it's worth, if anything...

It depends on what you want to use it for. I clean and resize for use in a scar, and get 6-9 reloads from it. If you need brass to feed to a precision rifle, you may be lucky to get 2-3 reloads and poor accuracy without reaming the neck, ect, but it's certainly better than nothing.

I was able to pick up some match brass from someone on one of the forums here. I'm looking to load for long range with my new Savage 10 fcp hs. Thanks guys, I appreciate all of your insight!

I've used machine gun brass for precision rifle before and its fine.

Do an FLS and trim it. It'll be fine. The military doesn't field 7.62mm guns with chambers longer than .006" over SAAMI minimum. Sure, maybe you'll get 2 reloads less out of it compared to 1x brass from an M24 or M40, but it still lasts plenty long enough.

You're right it is Lake City gas gun brass but its pretty good IMO, everything was stamped LC 11...so far I've swaged the pockets, annealed it, full length sized it. trimmed it and now I've even neck turned a couple hundred (its been cold here in NJ so I get bored)...even if I get 4-5 reloads out of it that's around 2 years worth of shooting...I'll take that all day long
