I wanted to set up my zero stop on my EREK and followed the instructions that came with the scope. I backed out the 1/8" Allen all the way out, it wouldn't come out, but I backed it out as far as it would go...

Well, I twisted the knob and the EREK knob popped right off

I now can't get the damn thing back onto the turret.....

After the fact I watched CS Tactical's video and everything makes complete sense now.

So how do I get this thing back together?

That center screw adjusts the erector and is not meant to ever come "out" by the end user, the cap is retained by 2 screws, you set the zero stop point, loosen the 2 top cover screws and rotate the EREK to the indication you want. You then use the center screw to adjust elevation until you have it zeroed..

I never did take that center screw out. The way the instructions read to me was to take the center screw out, when I backed it out it wouldn't come, so I didn't go any farther.

Then I turned the knob and off the aluminum knob came off. Now I can't get it back on.

Is this something ill have to send to USO now?

I looked at it again this morning.

I'm guessing the knob is not supposed to be "on" the turret, but the top cap once tightened "squishes" the knob on the turret.

Am I correct?

I hope so

The knob you have pictured there just sits on top of the stainless knob screw. The rounded top cap with the 2 flat-head screws is what holds it down. Just put it back together. Also, The center screw wont come out through the top

Thanks guys, it was one of those things when I was messing with it the knob popped off and I said oh fuck...

After putting it down and looking at it the following morning I realized all was well.
