Just be aware that if the threads are different lengths, you may have carbon building up on the inside threads after a lot of rounds, and this might prevent it from going all the way on the barrels with the longer threads. You can just clean these out with some carbon solvent and stiff brush

Even if you have them threaded all at the same time and to the same length, if they are not exactly the same length then you may still end up not being able to get a good tag against the shoulder. Had/have this very problem myself but as long as you clean the suppressor threads out when switching between hosts, you will be fine.
would having different length in threads have any adverse effect on the accuracy/POI consistency or just carbon build up?
I run my 30ba on both my Gap-10 .308 and TRG-22 .260. No problems whatsoever, I've had very good results
I'm looking for advice between the 30p1 and 30ba. I have decided the TB30 series can is the right one, I wanted to run it between a 308 bolt and a 556 AR. For a multi platform, multi caliber, would it be best to go with the 30ba for the easy on and off between the 2 hosts? Is there any cons to running a break attached can over a direct thread?
I've chosen the 30-P1 for this very reason. I will be using it on 2- .233s, .22-250AI, .243, 280AI, and .300WM. I decided on the direct thread model because I didn't want to have to purchase a brake for each barrel= added expense.
i did the same thing. i use my 30p-1 on 308, 6.5 grendel, 223, and 204 ruger. its awesome on all of them.
I don't mind the added price of a muzzle device. I feel that is more particle for my needs. I am looking to find the same multi-tenancy for a pistol can as well, something that will work on 9-40-45. Once that is figured out I hope to purchase both at the same time in order to expedite the process. I can't seem to find a TBAC dealer here in the Scottsdale area that has the 30ba in inventory. I have only checked their websites, next will be a phone call to confirm with a human if they have the cans.
I'm in the same decision mode and thought the 30P-1 would work but my .223 has 1/2-28 thread and my .308 is yet to be threaded. Are you using an adaptor for the .223 to bring it up to a 5/8-28 thread?
I went with the 30ba. I don't always shoot suppressed and it is nice to have the muzzle break already on the barrels. It was a bit of extra expense, but to me the convenience is worth it.
