Rifle Scopes Which USO ST-10 reticle?

The default reticle is the #004 mil-dot. I'm not sure it has enough subtensions for the non-dedicated marksman shooter to range easily.
If this is in error, I invite you to point me to an internet training video or article.

Otherwise, there are several other mil reticles available on the USO site with more subtensions. Two I like are the #063 GAP and the #014
Gen II mil-dot.

Which reticle allows for more precise shots, and/or is more visible against varied backgrounds? Which is your favorite and why?

The have the GAP. It is a simple design to look at. Also it fits the 10x well.

Mil Scale GAP has won by a landslide. I accept this is the best choice.
