Greetings,

I am building my first precision rifle and after a long mental debate have decided on the Accupoint 2.5-10x56 TR22-2 for optics. I was wrestling between this and the Accupoint 5-20x50mm TR23-2 model. In the end, the $300 savings and lack of access to +300 yards at this time resulted in the TR22-2.

My question is, will a 56mm sunshade from another brand like Schmidt & Bender or Zeiss fit on this scope? I was really drooling over the TR23, and I really liked the sunshade. Perhaps it is just a bit of OCD, but I would really like a sunshade on my scope.

Plenty of pictures will be posted of the build, I chose the wrong time to build a rifle it seems because parts have been a pain to come by.

Cheers,

Tuna

buy the 5 -20 TR23 mildot if you are dead set on a Trijicon for a precision rifle.
As to the sunshade question is it threaded for a shade? If it is Trijicon should sell it if it's not included.

I would give them a call.

Being as every scope made has the lenses held in by threaded rings, it's a safe bet that it is threaded for a sunshade.
