Currently I have a Voodoo rear bag, filled with cat litter.

With my new 9-13 bipod, It isnt tall enough by about 2 inches.

What is a good tall rear bag out there...I know hat IS out there, just not which will work the best for my situation.

Thanks.

I am really happy with my home made bag. I just filled a large sock with airsoft bbs tied it off and dropped it into a crown royal bag. It is filled to the point that it fills the crown royal bag completely and is stiff enough that I can stand it on end if I need it tall.

A 6-9 bipod would solve your problem and give you more bag options. However, thats not the question you asked and I'm sure youre usig the 'pod you like.

Haha, you know I just cant use them......I have one on my 10/22 and usually its fully extended. 9" is perfect for bipod height for me, as far as an even surface goes.

Ill either DIY, or look into the Triad wedge as a lot of people like it.

Might want look at Tab gear. They have a pretty fat one. Also you could call str8 laced, they could probably make you a custom one.

I dont think TAB, or the wedge, will get you where you need to be. On level ground, with the pod at 9" you need essentially 8 or 9 inches at the back to be level, more if youre shooting downhill. Most of the bags out there, mine included, are in the 6 - 8 (maybe 9) range. And thats the flat material length. Once you fill it and leave 'squish' room, youre less than that.

I *could* make a custom bag bigger than 9 inches, but how big are yo willing to have the thing? We make one for TacPro thats about 6X10, but if you stood it on end to get the height, it would be a little unwieldy.

Dunno, interesting problem. You may end up using one bag as a 'base' and stacking a smaller bag on top of that.

Look at the MOA Systems adjustable shooting bags.

They take the place of multiple bags and are less than 2 lbs.

They also make bags to order.

Might look at the 'Tactical Pillow' from Red Tac Gear. Stood on end, its about as tall as I've ever been comfortable using. Any taller and I'd say the stability of your position will be questionable.

You guys are AWESOME!

Ive never even heard of half of these, im sure one will fit the bill.

The shmooshie and MOA bag are a bit spendy, but they seem solid, and its not like I need to keep buying bags after I buy one, so its somewhat of an investment.

I like that the smooshie has slip pads and velcro for a patch or two, but the MOA seems more practical as far as fitting in a pack...Ill have to dig around and find some reviews.

I use both the ill wedgie and big wedgie as well as the small and large Red Tac Gear bags. I find that the big wedgie stood on its end works very well for me when using a taller bipod. Quick question though. What stock are you using as that may make a difference?

Im using a standard hunting style stock, so its fairly slim.
