Mitch....we'll just have to make sure your trip out for antelope in Sept coincides with either our match or the CMP stuff

Re: Cody,Wy Feb Precision Practical Match

WTF? how did this get on without me knowing about it?....lol
Kebo, please pm me all the info I should need. I'm there for the next one.

I just want to say this was a fun little match. Anyone within the upper WY or lower MT area should try and make this. My thanks go out to Kieth for hosting this event and giving me another opportunity to keep the long gun warm. There's a good group of guys up there in Cody. I'll be sure to see you guys next time.

ewoaf----
many thanks for the feed back and for driving up to shoot with us. There are typically a few more shooters than showed up Saturday...a couple of guys were out of town and I think the conditions may have intimidated others but in actuality it wasn't bad. Looking forward to the April 6 Match. Format and shot count will be the same.

Keith

I'm moving out to Wapiti by May I hope. I live now in southwest Va. and we shot tactical form 100 yrd to 1047 at steel plates. I will be looking for some new friends to shot with.

Please help !!!

1 mile if you've visited the Cody/Wapiti area finding a place to shoot at a mile won't be an issue. There is ample space out in the BLM east of Cody to shoot at great distances. We'd love to have you shoot our little match here in Cody once you get moved.

You say monthly matches............do you have a schedule, also is there any two day matches? Use to shoot at Lander, Cody, and Worland.....it was a two day event, NMC one day, 1000 yard or F-Class the next.

I don't mind the drive (from Newcastle) but can't justify it for a one day match, but if there is some sort of match the second day, I'm game.

Hey Kraig - if you want a match to shoot on Sunday after this Saturday rifle match then join us for our USPSA sanctioned match the first Sunday of each month March through October. We average just over 32 shooters per match for five stages, around 120-130 rounds. Web site is: www.codyactionshooters.com.

Hope to see you at the rifle match and our USPSA match in April!

Rich Redovian
USPSA venue manager, Cody Shooting Complex

Kraig -- should've mentioned that Keith will be holding the rifle matches the first Saturday of each month.

Sounds like this will work, except for April. We have our Friends of the NRA Banquet on the 6th.

Looks like some nice Harley trips coming up this summer.

We shoot first Saturday each month. The June match is tentative at this time due to another possible match at the complex. Course of fire is pretty much as listed at the start of this thread. We have at least one other shooter that shoots with us on Saturday morning and stays over to shoot pistol with Rich on Sunday. We'd love to have you join us.

Keith

Kebo57 pm inbound. Any other matches in the North or NE area anyone? Looking forward to hearing what is available.

We have our Precision match in Cody this upcoming Saturday 6 April at the Cody Shooting Complex. Registration and posting targets start at 8am and match starts at 9am. Bump to the top message in this thread for specifics on the course of fire or PM me. I am also available at 307-527-4570 M-F 8-4 if you'd rather call. Keith

Sorry I missed you Keith and Rich. I ended up having to work yesterday, and didn't get home in time to get enough sleep to make Rich's match this morning. Pretty bummed about it, but there's always next month.

ewoaf - I missed Keith's match as well - got brass & bullets, some powder but no small rifle primers! I'm hopin' like hell I can acquire some before the next rifle match! We had fabulous weather for our USPSA match on Sunday; you missed a good one with the 36 others that did make it!

If anybody has some CCI 450's or CCI BR4's they'd like to get rid of, I'm your guy!

Rich

ewoaf....sorry you couldn't make it....we all had fun even with the tricky conditions. Hope you can make it for May. If you've got a good 22 we're going to add a match for that as well....same course of fire, same targets, half the distance

I'm looking forward to defending my win April 6 in the May 4 match (Remington 700, A-3, Kreiger, 6.5cm, Sightron III). I'll be bringing my BSA Int. Martini for the .22 portion....look out SPG...
